A Ceramics Journey from Tradition to the Future
He was born in Samsun in 1962. After completing his primary, secondary and high school education in Samsun, he entered the Istanbul State Fine Arts Academy in 1979 and began his ceramics education. In 1980, he founded a ceramics workshop with the name of Akas Ltd. Şti. together with two of his friends in the department.
He graduated from the school named Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University with a master's degree in 1984. He worked as a designer at Toprak Ceramic Factory between 1985-1990.
He founded GRASER A.Ş. in 1990 and managed to become a brand in the sector in domestic and international projects by blending traditional production techniques with technological developments. He continues to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors in his company, which has completed 35 years.

Graser was founded by ceramic artist Sebahattin Gündoğdu in 1990. Graser stepped into the sector with the production of third firing ceramic decorations and ceramic art panels in its early years, and quickly made a difference with its unique production techniques and strong design approach.

Graser on the Exterior
Original examples of mosaic art have been applied on facades using ceramic, natural stone and fusion glass materials. It has broken new ground in the sector by using different designs for each facade in more than 500 projects.

Graser in hotels
Specializing in natural stone, ceramic and fusion production since 1990, Graser has proven its success in the sector by signing more than 100 hotel projects. The Story of Istanbul Metro Stations Meets Art
In 2007, at the natural stone fair in Istanbul, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality officials discovered the designs and products of Graser Company. This meeting was an important beginning for both parties. The appreciated designs took the first step towards bringing a project to life and thus the design process of Istanbul Şişhane Metro began.
Graser combined art and functionality, allowing the metro stations to be both aesthetically and technically unique. The panels designed with artistic touches and the marble-fusion glass coatings transformed the stations from mere transportation points to art galleries.
Today, it has taken part in over 120 metro stations in Istanbul. These projects both add value to Istanbul and take visitors to the city on a visual journey. Graser continues this unique journey with each station, bringing together art, functionality and innovation.

Lava Stone

Our company has baked the lava stone at high temperatures after the glazing process using ceramic technology. Thus, an alternative new product has been developed for interior and exterior cladding with its unique color and texture range.
